• Our marine version for Perkins 4.108 is a high quality, 12V solenoid rated to 100 amps continuous and 600 amp intermittent load, making it more than sufficiently robust for starting this range of engines. It is electrically ‘isolated’, which means that it has both positive and negative terminals on the solenoid itself (rather than being ‘earthed’ via the base).
