Aftermarket Volvo Penta D2-40 Heat exchanger gasket & seal kit includes:

The ‘outlet and manifold’ gaskets are manufactured from a compressed fibre gasket material composed of aramid, glazen & carbon fibres with a high nitrile rubber binder. This material has excellent sealing properties and is suitable for sealing both water, and exhaust gases. We have chosen this material specially to reduce the possibility of galvanic corrosion associated with the original manufacturer’s steel gasket.
