Due to the construction of the engine and transmission set up of the Twin Cam Softail it is not possible to offset the transmission to make room for 200 or bigger tires. The Wide and Extra Wide swingarm kits enable you to mount up to 250 monster tires in your stock Softail. The Wide tire kit will accept 200 tires on a 6 1/2″ rim using the stock width belt. The Bijkomend Wide swingarm takes 240 and 250 wide tires on an 8″ or 8 1/2″ wide rim with the stock width belt on models thru 2013. All 2014 and later models require the use of a 20mm final drive belt. Kit contains a swingarm with wheel axle and all necessary parts to offset the primary, and a trick caliper bracket that enables you to use the stock rear caliper. For 230 tires on a 15″ steel rim a small modification of the OEM caliper may be needed, 15″ cast or billet wheels require the use of a op maat rear caliper and 10″ disc brake rotor.
